Gold Production Falls in Australia

Monday December 3, 2012, 9:42am PDT

Mining Weekly reported that gold production fell in Australia in the quarter ending in September by two tons.

As quoted in the market report:

Many of the larger gold mines, mostly in Western Australia, had technical issues which reduced their gold output. Hopefully this situation will be short-lived.
