Richmont Mines Inc. (TSX:RIC,AMEX:RIC) is developing deeper levels at its Island Gold Deep mine in Ontario and hopes to table an updated resource estimate by the end of the third quarter. There are two drills active completing an exploration drilling program with an additional two drills active between the 400 metre and 500 metre levels aimed at converting existing resources into reserves and identifying new resources. The company produced just over 60,000 oz of gold in 2012 and currently has a market capitalization of $65.7 million.
Diamcor Mining Inc. (TSXV:DMI)
Diamcor Mining Inc. (TSXV:DMI) is an emerging producer of rough diamonds and is in the process of ramping up operations at its Krone-Endora diamond Project in South Africa. The diamond deposits on Krone-Endora occur in two layers with an average total depth of less than 15.0 metres from surface to bedrock, allowing for a very low-cost mining operation. Since acquiring Krone-Endora from Debeers, Diamcor has completed the construction and installation of extensive infrastructure at the Project, along with the installation of a purpose built modular processing plant, and extensive quarrying and in-field screening operations. The company anticipates moving to 24/7 operations in the near future. Diamcor has a market capitalization of$49.2 million.
Coronet Metals Inc. (TSXV:CRF)
Coronet Metals Inc. (TSXV:CRF) is in the process of producing a NI-43-101 resource estimate on its White Caps Gold Project located near the town of Manhattan in northern Nye County, Nevada, 13 miles south of Kinross and Barrick’s Round Mountain Gold Mine. The NI 43-101 Report work commenced in March 2013 and is expected to be completed in the 3rd quarter 2013. Coronet Metals has a market capitalization of about $7 million.
Corvus Gold (TSX:KOR,OTCQX:CORVF)
Corvus Gold Inc. (TSX:KOR) anticipates tabling additional drill results from its ongoing 20,000 metre drill program on its North Bullfrog Project in Nevada. The company recently announced that it expanded the Sierra Blanca North Zone and discovered New Vein System 200 metres west of Yellow Jacket Zone. Upon conclusion of the current drill program, an updated resource calculation is scheduled for release late 2013 with an updated PEA anticipated early next year. The company has a market capitalization of about $71 million.
Noram Ventures Inc. (TSXV:NRM)
Noram Ventures Inc. (TSXV:NRM) is expecting drill results from a 15 hole (1,500 metre) phase 1 drilling campaign on its Jumbo Flake-graphite property, situated 15 km south of the town of Nakusp in southern British Columbia. Arianne Phosphate (TSXV:DAN) is working to complete a feasibility study on its proposed Lac à Paul phosphate mine located in the Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean region, Quebec, Canada. The study is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2013 and will examine a three million tonne per year production rate. The company has a market capitalization of about $92 million.
Afri-Can Marine Minerals Corp. (TSXV:AFA)
Afri-Can Marine Minerals Corp. (TSXV:AFA) is expecting an assessment report covering the Marine Diamond Mining Leases it has under option off the coast of Namibia. Potash West NL (OTCQX:PWNNY,ASX:PWN) is anticipating results from a scoping study it initiated in April this year on its Dandaragan Trough phosphate project in Australia. Specifically, the report will focus on the Dinner Hill potash resource which occurs over a 10.3 sq km area of the property. The company has a market capitalization of about $11 million.
