Production at Sierra Leone Mine Up by 250%

London Mining (LSE:LOND) reports that its Marampa mine in Sierra Leone has increased production by 250 percent since it started in 2011, according to Mining Weekly.

As quoted in the market news:

In the first year of mining operations, 1.5-million tonnes were mined, with a five-million-tonne a year rate expected for the end of 2013. “We plan to reach 6.5-million tonnes by the end of 2014,” says London Mining CEO Graeme Hossie.
