Pinetree’s investment approach is to develop a macro view of a sector, build a position consistent with the view by identifying micro-cap opportunities within that sector, and devise an exit strategy designed to maximize their relative return in light of changing fundamentals and opportunities.

Mega Uranium Ltd. is a Canadian mineral resources company with a focus on uranium projects. It has uranium resources in Australia and uranium exploration projects in Australia, Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Mongolia, Canada and Cameroon. In addition, it has interests in base and precious minerals exploration properties in Canada and Latin America.

Precious Metals – Colossus Minerals

Colossus Minerals Inc. is an exploration and development company focused on gold and platinum group metals projects in Brazil. Led by a skilled management team, the company is managing and developing the well sought after Serra Pelada project, a Colossus-COOMIGASP joint venture. Since their IPO in February 2008, Colossus has continuously announced spectacular high-grade results from their drilling program at Serra Pelada.

Base Metals – Macarthur Minerals

Macarthur Minerals Ltd. (CVE:MMS) is focused on the exploration and development of its highly promising Lake Giles iron ore and base metals project in the emerging Yilgarn region of Western Australia. To date, Macarthur Minerals has identified an estimated in-situ inferred mineral resource at Lake Giles of 197 million tonnes at a grade of 26.1% Fe.
