Franco-Nevada Reports First Quarter 2015 Results, Increases Quarterly Dividend

Gas – Franco-Nevada Corporation (TSX:FNV,NYSE:FNV) announced its financial results for the 2015 first quarter, which showed a net income of $19.2 million or $0.12 per share, an adjusted net income of $22.9 million or $0.15 per share with adjusted EBITDA of $83.3 million or $0.53 per share. The board also announced a quarterly dividend of $0.21 per share, a 0.5 percent increase from the last quarterly dividend.

Manitok Energy Enters Asset Purchase Agreement to Acquire 1,800 BOED and Fluid Processing Facility

Gas – Manitok Energy Inc. (TSXV:MEI) announced that it has entered into an asset purchase agreement with a public Alberta-based company for the acquisition of approximately 1,800 barrels of oil equivalent per day of production and a related 25,000 barrels per day fluid processing facility in the Wayne area of Alberta for a total cash consideration of $61.5 million prior to transaction costs.
