Graphite One Discovers Unique Characteristics of Mineralization at Graphite Creek, Suspends PEA Work

Graphite – Graphite One Resources Inc. (TSXV:GPH,OTCQX:GPHOF) announced that work on the PEA for Alaska Graphite Creek Project has been suspended to incorporate significant findings from the Stage B Report submitted by TRU Group Inc. TRU discovered the existence of distinct properties of the Graphite Creek mineralization: Spheroidal, Thin, Aggregate and EXpanded, or STAX. Graphite Once is applying for registration of the trademark STAX in association with Graphite Creek graphite, and believes that STAX has the potential to have a positive impact on the Preliminary Economic Assessment.

Canada Strategic Metals, Lomiko Metals Receive Approval for Option Deals

Graphite – Canada Strategic Metals (TSXV:CJC,FWB:YXEN,OTC:CJCFF) has received approval from the TSX Venture Exchange for an additional option giving Lomiko Metals (TSXV:LMR) the exclusive right and option to acquire an additional 40% undivided interest in the La Loutre Property and an 80% undivided interest in the Lac des Iles Property. Lomiko will secure those rights in exchange for a payment of $1,010,000, the issuance of 3,000,000 common shares of the company and funding of $1,750,000 in exploration expenditures over two years.

Graphite – Graphite One Resources Inc. (TSXV:GPH,OTCQX:GPHOF) Advisory Board Member Dan McGroarty spoke to CBS' "60 Minutes" segment entitled: “Modern Life's Devices Under China's Grip,” highlighting foreign dependency on elements essential to green technologies, high technologies and advanced weapons systems. According to CEO Anthony Huston, “While 60 Minutes focused on rare earths for which the United States is more than 90% dependent on Chinese supply, concerns about resource dependency apply equally to natural graphite.”
