Greenland Govt Will Be Cautious About Awarding Offshore Oil Licenses

Oil – Reuters reported that Greenland’s incoming mining and oil minister, Jens Erik Kirkegaard, said that while the country has enough number of oil licenses, it will be more careful about giving new oil permits which could mean a more difficult investment climate for international oil companies.

North American Nickel to Drill at Least 3,000 Meters this Summer

Nickel – North American Nickel Inc. (TSXV:NAN,OTCBB:WSCRF) announced that it has started getting ready for this summer's drill program at its Greenland-based, nickel-copper-cobalt-platinum group elements Maniitsoq project. At least 3,000 meters of drilling are planned, with fieldwork scheduled to start in May and drilling set to commence in June.
