Uranium – Uranium Resources Inc. (NASDAQ:URRE) has announced that the record date for the previously announced shareholder rights offering will be scheduled on January 28, 2012 at 5:00 P.M. eastern time.
Tungsten – Galway Metals Inc. (TSXV:GWM), a company that holds a 100% interest in the Victorio tungsten-molybdenum project situated in New Mexico, has announced that common shares will be listed and will commence trading on the TSX Venture Exchange effective January 4, 2013, under the symbol “GWM.”

Gas – Caza Oil & Gas Inc. (TSX:CAZ) announced that drilling has begun at its Forehand Ranch prospect, which is located in New Mexico. The well will be drilled to a total measured depth of about 11,929 feet. Caza also provided an update on its operations.
Oil – Victory Energy Corp. (OTCQB:VYEY) announced the completion of the first of nine development wells that it is drilling in partnership with Aurora Energy Partners at its New Mexico-based Pinetop prospect, commenting that commercial flows were significant.
Uranium – The Street reported New Mexico's Supreme Court has ruled a uranium company's insurance policies may cover costs of cleaning up contamination at a former mine.
Potash – The Street reported the introduction of a proposal that could end a decades-long series of legal disputes over the development of oil, gas and potash resources in the area of New Mexico which makes up the nation's largest potash reserve.
Uranium – Strathmore Minerals Corp. (TSX:STM,OTCQX:STHJF) announced it has retracted the resource estimate and the results of the scoping study for its Church Rock property in New Mexico.
Uranium – Tigris Uranium Corp. (TSXV:TU) announced it has received a resource estimate for the Crownpoint and Hosta Butte uranium projects in New Mexico.
Potash – Canadian Business reported that Mosaic Corp. (NYSE:MOS) has opened its potash compaction plant in New Mexico.
