Trevali Mining Reports Preliminary Q2 Production Results From Santander Mine

Silver – Trevali Mining Corporation (TSX:TV,BVL:TV,OTCQX:TREVF,FWB:4TI) announced preliminary production results for the second quarter of 2014 of roughly 12 million payable pounds of zinc, 4.4 million payable pounds of lead and 187,000 payable ounces of silver from its Santander Mine located in Peru. Trevali also reported that it remains well on track for its 2014 Santander production guidance, which is estimated at approximately 670,000 to 690,000 tonnes of mill throughput.

Trevali Mining Closes $52.5-million Senior Secured Notes Offering

Lead – Trevali Mining Corporation (TSX:TV,BVL:TV,OTCQX:TREVF, FWB:4TI) has closed its previously announced offering of 52,500 units consisting of 12.5 percent Senior Secured Notes due May 30, 2019 and Common Share purchase warrants at a price of C$980 per unit, for aggregate proceeds of C$51,450,000. Each unit consists of C$1,000 principal amount of Notes and 123.2 Warrants. Each whole Warrant shall entitle the holder thereof, subject to certain conditions, to purchase one Common Share at an exercise price of $1.26.

Highlights include a pre-production capital expenditure of $36.3 million, a post-tax Internal Rate of Return of 56.9%, post-tax Net Present Value of $106 million at a 5% discount rate, and average annual payable production of approximately 93 million lbs. zinc, 32.5 million lbs. lead, 3.1 million lbs. copper, 730,000 ozs. silver and 1,500 ozs. gold.
