Oil – Manitok Energy Inc. (TSXV:MEI) announced that strong investor demand has prompted it to up the size of its bought deal public offering to $17.2 million.
Oil – Manitok Energy Inc. (TSXV:MEI) announced that drilling at its eighth well in the Stolberg area of Alberta intersected the Cardium reservoir three times. Production testing indicates an average rate of 460 barrels per day (375 net) of light oil over 21 hours at the lower intersection and an average rate of 525 bbls/d (428 net) of light oil over 91 hours at the middle intersection.
Manitok and Petrus Resources Ltd. have entered into a letter of intent regarding the farm out of Manitok lands in the Stolberg and Fallen Timber areas of the Alberta foothills. As quoted in the press release:
Manitok, jointly with Petrus Resources Ltd., entered into a purchase and sale agreement to acquire oil and natural gas assets in the central Alberta foothills area for total cash consideration of $85 million before closing adjustments and related costs.
