Ucore Separates Rare Earth Elements at High Purity With MRT Technology

Rare Earth – Ucore Rare Metals (TSXV:UCU) reported successfully using IBC Advanced Technologies' proprietary Molecular Recognition Technology (MRT) to separate each individual rare earth element at high purity. The process consistently separated rare earths to produce rare earth salts at 99 percent purity from a pregnant leach solution (PLS).

Recent Discoveries in the Rare Earths Sector

Rare Earth – Lately there have been several new discoveries of rare earths mineralization, and at least one company has expanded mineralization at its project through additional drilling. The news is encouraging in that while rare earths are not actually very rare in terms of distribution in the Earth’s crust, it’s difficult to find deposits that are economically mineable.
