NexGen Energy Confirms High Grade Uranium at Northeast Edge of the Arrow Zone

Uranium – NexGen Energy Ltd. (TSXV:NXE) released further assay results from its Winter 2015 program at at the Arrow zone, Rook I property in the Athabasca Basin in Saskatchewan. The high grade cores within A2 and A3 shears have been expanded, and confirmed and exceeded expectations with assay results from angled drill holes AR-15-39, -39w1, and -41. An angled drill hole has confirmed the presence of high grade uranium at the northeast edge of the Arrow zone. Preparations are underway for a five-rig drill program slated to start in early- to mid-June.

NexGen Energy’s $23,740,000 Bought Deal Financing Closed

Uranium – NexGen Energy Ltd. (TSXV:NXE) announced the closing of its bought deal financing of $23,740,000. The bought deal was co-led by Cormark Securities and Cantor Fitzgerald Canada, on behalf of a syndicate of underwriters which included Dundee Securities and Haywood Securities and special assistance from Numis Securities Limited United Kingdom.

Toro Energy Begins Sonic Resource Drilling at Wiluna Project

Uranium – Toro Energy Limited (ASX:TOE) announced the commencement of a sonic core resource drilling campaign at its Wiluna Uranium Project in Western Australia. 130 sonic core drill holes planned across Wiluna’s Lake Maitland, Centipede, Millipede and Nowthanna deposits. The program is expected to span 6 weeks, with the following objectives: investigations into the 2014 observation that previous gamma probe measurements may have led to an underestimation in significant parts of the resource; and improved geological data for the process optimization studies started in Q1 of 2015.

Drilling at CanAlaska Uranium JV at Maguire Lake Interects Significant Alteration System

Uranium – CanAlaska Uranium Ltd. (TSXV:CVV) announced that drilling by Northern Uranium on the North West Manitoba joint venture continues to intersect a significant hydrothermal alteration zone at Maguire Lake. The area demonstrates potential to host a substantial unconformity style uranium deposit due to the elevated radioactivity within the zone.
