Anfield Resources Receives Conditional Approval for Shootaring Mill License Transfer

Uranium – Anfield Resources (TSXV:ARY) reported that the Utah Division of Radiation Control (UDRC) has granted conditional approval for the transfer of ownership of the Shootaring Canyon Uranium Mill radioactive materials license. The UDRC has also extended the license renewal deadline to allow Anfield to prepare a license renewal application for the mill.

Alpha Exploration Reports of New Targets at Carpenter Lake Property

Uranium – Alpha Exploration (TSXV:AEX) announced that it has received reports from new targets at the Carpenter Lake Property, which it has an option agreement to earn a 60 percent interest in. According to the company the results include high surface radioactivity around Sill Lake west of the Cable Bay Shear Zone as well as high uranium in lake sediment concentrations along the Cable Bay Shear Zone.

Fission Uranium Hits 24.87 U3O8 Over 7.5 Meters at Patterson Lake South

Uranium – Fission Uranium (TSXV:FCU,OTCQX:FCUUF,FWB:2FU) announced it had received summer assay results from 13 holes drilled on the R780E zone at its Patterson Lake South property with highlights including one hole returning 24.87 percent U3O8 over 7.5 meters within a larger interval of 8.53 percent over 24 meters.

TSX Approves Powertech Uranium and Azarga Resources Merger

Uranium – The TSX has given conditional approval to the merger between Powertech Uranium (TSX:PWE) and Azarga Resources. The new company will be called Azarga Uranium Corporation. The TSX also conditionally approved the company's $5 million private placement, with the company issuing up to 84 million units at a price of $0.06 per unit.
